[Artistic Journey] Bring Down the Wall

My submission for the Artistic Journey based on the past few years of how I got to where I am.

The whole thing would be a lie if I made my road all clean and sparkly. Life was gray and dull. There was no red carpet. There was no field of flowers. All I had, was a bunch of people constantly telling me that I would never make it and me constantly making the wrong decisions, further cracking the path I created. Getting cocky and thinking I could make it way too early and almost losing sight of why I originally wanted to draw as the criticism from other artists and people I know got worse and worse was the harshest period but getting through that taught me a lot.

Bringing down the wall of disdain and shifting away from the concrete road lead me to the person I am today with characters that are to me like Mickey to Didnaywerld (Thanks, for such a wonderful description.) . As my world is slowly painted in bright colors, a piece of me is added to my creations (Which explains why I can take 4 hours on a simple 10-min sketch because if I can't feel it, I can't draw it)
